Thamel Grand Hotel

This hotel is located in a very peaceful place and near to the Thamel local market. The hotel staff were very helpful. At the front desk office, Buddha Limbu and Karuna Baniya were very helpful and honest. They tried their best to meet all of our expectations. The other staff, Rehan and Rupak did their job well. The Continental Breakfast served in Black Olives was really good. They promised to improve their services and add some more facilities in the hotel. However, we wish there should be daily room cleaning facility without having to request in advance. We would love if you could add a dressing mirror in the bed room as well. Thank you all for providing us with good services and being nice to us during our stay.

The stuff was very friendly and was ready to meet any request. The hotel is in Thamel, the very noisy area, but it is super calm there. There was a hot shower all day around, the breakfast was provided in the cafe nearby and was super delicious. Everything was great actually, nothing is to complain about.

All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. I really appreciated the lovely welcome drink and the lovely girl on reception, Karuna, made me welcome straight away and talked me through the best things to see in the area. Every day karuna and the other lovely boy at reception advised me well on where to go and how to get there. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Thamel. The breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious!

It was a good experience staying at Thamel Grand Hotel. The staff were very friendly. I had to leave early in the morning, and they packed breakfast box for me to take on the road. They have provided breakfast. The location was good to walk around town and east access to everything. Couples of things to consider, 1) no elevator for big luggage to 2nd or 3rd floor. 2) When shower, the bathroom becomes very wet be ware of toilet paper also get wet.
